(Don't know what I'm talking about? Click here.)
-- I did it! I completed the 15 random acts of kindness (ROAK) that I said I would for February. That brings my grand total to 22! Only 79 more to go (deep sigh).
-- I bought a great pair of jeans (0pr@h recommended).
-- I bought the juicer (and I have been juicing like crazy ever since! It's the best $100 I have EVER spent!!).
-- I paid off both credit cards in my money & finance section.
February wasn't hard or anything but the ROAK was challenging. I had to decide what was simply being nice and what was a real random act. I had to do the last one twice. The tall girl asked for a stamp and I gave it to her and wouldn't let her pay for it. Since I wasn't sure if that qualified I decided to give the man ahead of me in line $1.87 which is what he needed for his grocery bill. That qualified, I'm sure.
March has some goals to complete as well.
1. I will leave 15 encouraging words in random places.
2. I will create a customized care package for a friend or loved one.
3. I will volunteer 5 hours.
4. Gather all birthdays in 1 place.
5. Make my alphabet movie list.
Stay tuned....
Take far too many pictures, laugh just a little bit too loudly, be sure to forgive freely, and love like you've never been hurt.

Use Liberal Amounts of Hand Sanitizer
I did it. I'm almost ashamed but almost happy at the same time. Today, SuperMommie became a dumpster diver.
Ok, I'm not technically a dumpster diver. I didn't get into the dumpster. Hell, I didn't even get close to the dumpster. I only went to the side of it. Today, while I was taking out the trash, I noticed some unused, still bound, newspapers off to the side of the dumpster. I stopped pitching trash mid throw (cause you have to throw the trash into the dumpster. It counts as extra exercise). I looked around to see who was watching. No one!
This week was pretty good in the coupon section so my mind was racing, thinking about all those coupons, dollars if you will, just sitting there on the ground. I mean $1.50 off lotion, .50cents off deodorant, .50cents off dish liquid--you can't let that go to waste!
Yes, SuperMommie, put 6 newspapers in her car. And yes, she came home and clipped an extra set of coupons to the ones she had already clipped.
I am a dumpster diver (kinda) and I am proud (well, not proud, kinda grossed out but in a, yea, I saved money kind of way).
Pass the pu.re.l please.

I'm working on several "101 things in 1001 days". It's not as easy as it sounds (well, I guess that was kinda the point).
I like the fact that I made a list and published it. It holds me accountable. It makes me want to do better -- be better. It makes me want to hurry up and finish 10 things just to prove I'm really doing something. I keep a copy of the list posted near my desk at home and a copy in my purse. Every time I do something little towards something on my list, I pull it out and make notes. It gives me a really warm feeling.
So...what have I been working on? I'm so glad you asked!
Blog 75% of the 1001 days - (8/16) 50%, not good. I'm working on it.
Develop a skin care regime - I've been studying my skin. I went to my Clinique lady, found out what she recommended and then went to my Avon lady and bought it.
Cook 35 new dinners - (1) It's a start.
Comment on 72 random blogs - (8) I didn't want them to be frivolous. I wanted them to be meaningful. It's easy to comment on just any 72!
Host a movie night - It's planned. I'll let you know next week how it goes!!
List 101 things that make me happy - (68)
Read 72 books - I'm working on 2. I'm almost done with one. AND I joined a book club.
Watch 10 complete BBC series - (1) Mapp & Lucia - nothing exciting. Typical British humor, but I liked it (it was British, duh!).
Save $1.00 per day - ($16) actually I put in a $20 when I got paid. It's easier and I'll save more.
Complete 101 random acts of kindness (1)
Of course there are other things that I am working on (in my mind). I have several recipes that I have written down and I'm keeping my eye out for the juicer to go on sale. I think I'm going to reward myself with something for each 10 items I finish. Not something big, something little. Maybe a pedicure or something. Yeah, I'll let you know.
Have you been working on YOUR 101? Did you even start? Get busy. After you write it and begin working toward the finish line, you'll feel really good.
